All-new Microsoft, Google and AI training modules now available in the Maxsum Breach Protection Platform via the PII-Protect Portal. Here’s what to expect!
We’re excited to announce a suite of new training modules designed to enhance not just your cyber security awareness but also your digital literacy skills. PII Protect has launched a suite of engaging training for both Microsoft and Google platforms, now live and accessible to all MaxSec BPP Security Awareness Training clients via the PII Protect Portal.
A number of Maxsum clients and staff have trialled the new modules as part of our pre-release program. Here’s what they had to say!
Microsoft Training
The Microsoft Training Package includes a Microsoft Fundamentals course on core products like Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as a Microsoft Cybersecurity Training course, which will add extra credit to your Employee Secure Score! The full suite consists of 6 video training modules that together run for approximately 106 minutes.
I highly recommend the Microsoft Training for staff. It focuses on the basics and is ideal for anyone new to the Microsoft 365 environment or who wants a refresher.
The training covers a range of essential applications, including Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint, leaving you well-equipped to navigate and utilise these tools effectively.
The Microsoft Cybersecurity Training was really useful! I finally learnt a bit about macros and how to identify and handle those tech support calls out of the blue!
Google Training
The Google Training module offers 1 short course that provides a useful summary of the security vulnerabilities affecting some of the popular Google Workspace tools, including Gmail, Google Chrome and Google Search. Whether you use google professionally or for personal use, there are insights here for all!
Even though I use Microsoft for work, I learnt some new things in the Google training that I’m definitely going to take home and share with the family!
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Training
The most recent addition to the line-up, the AI training package includes long-form training courses on the fundamentals of using AI tools effectively.
It profiles the security risks associated with AI use, offering up insights on identifying deepfakes and AI-generated phishing attempts.
It’s good training on the threats specific to AI. The test at the end gives bonus ESS points as well!
Introducing #Nanos!
New to the Newsfeed in the PII Protect Portal are #Nannos! Bite-sized newsfeed style posts introducing key facts, snapshots, and short videos on the latest cybersecurity and AI topics. Check out the Newsfeed on a more regular basis to stay up to date, or use search function or suggested tags to filter for particular topics you’re interested in catching up on!
