Nov 11, 2013

News

Bendigo’s business technology community will come together on November 26 for Exclusive Access #3 and hear about how personal devices like smartphones and tablets are changing how employees work.

The third in the 2013 series of events, Exclusive Access is designed to open a conversation between Bendigo’s business leaders and those in the know about business technology and digital opportunities.

The BYOD and Cloud Computing event will take place on November 26 and feature presentations by five Bendigo professionals who will educate and inform attendees through a series of short presentations.

Drawn from  Marketing, Accounting, Professional Services, Technology Consulting and Software and Systems sectors, the presenters will offer plain language examples that show how the world of work is changing – for the better.

Maxsum Solutions MD Joe Ciancio says tickets are limited for EA3 and that participants should register early to avoid disappointment.

“We welcomed more than one hundred people to our last event and were impressed with the level of engagement by Bendigo business in their technology future,” Mr Ciancio says.

“There is clearly an appetite for well organised, informed and educational business events in our city and we’re really happy to welcome our panellists who come from a diverse range of sectors,” he says.

Presenters at EA3 include Carolyn Stanford of Stanford Marketing, Louise Hickman of Stewarts Accountants, Joe Ciancio of Maxsum Solutions, Ross Wheatland of VECCI and Clayton Molynoux of Microsoft.

“For business people who want to know more about how their employees are using their own smart phones and tablets at work, this event is not to be missed,” says Mr Ciancio.

“And as a celebration of the professionalism and forward mindedness of Bendigo business, you really can’t go past an Exclusive Access event and networking lunch,” he says.
