As a multiple award-winning, ISO-certified Managed IT Services Provider, Maxsum uniquely offers combined Managed IT Support AND Managed IT Security package options with included strategic planning and advisory services, alongside the planning and delivery of an extensive range of business technology project and professional services.

We are confident that our Proven Process works and that your organisation will start to see the benefits of our approach straight away.  We’re so sure that if after 90 days post Managed IT Service transition & onboarding, you are not completely satisfied with the level of service you are receiving as a MaxGuard Managed IT Services client, we will refund your onboarding project costs, waive any off-boarding costs and remove our management and monitoring tools free of charge!

Our Team & How We Work

Maxsum’s founder and Managing Director, Joe Ciancio, heads up our organisation, with General Manager Kristy Fletcher overseeing our core business operations. Our Managing Director and General Manager are joined on the Executive Leadership Team by our Office & HR Manager Linda Pedder, and Marketing & Communications Manager Rebecca Ciancio. 

Maxsum’s organisation and accountability structure is guided by our strategic management and operation framework EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), under which clear metrics relating to ownership, accountability and reporting are defined and actioned across the team.  

Maxsum’s client base is supported by an executive team with extensive enterprise-scale business technology, IT support, IT Security and consulting experience, as well as dedicated Leadership, Sales, Service Delivery, Security Services, Project Delivery, and Change Management Teams.

Within these teams, our strategy, infrastructure, cloud, collaboration, communications, security, procurement and licensing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) drive our mission of Enabling Opportunity, Realising Potential even further daily.

The day-to-day delivery and operation of Managed IT Services and Projects is resourced primarily by the Service and Project Delivery Teams, overseen by the Change Advisory Board, with a dedicated Account Manager and IT Strategy Consultant assigned to each of our Maxsum clients to address strategic initiatives, project planning, procurement, licensing or other requirements that may arise.

In addition to our ISO9001 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO27001 (Information Security Management Systems) certification, Maxsum operates to the Entrepreurial Operating System (EoS) management framework.

We work with a strategically aligned and selectively vetted list of globally and nationally recognised vendors and partners that support Maxsum to deliver world-class service, insights, innovation and knowledge into the Victorian marketplace.

We maintain key partnership status and certification levels with Microsoft, Google, Sophos, Datto, Rhipe, Dicker Data, Telstra, NBN, Fujitsu, HP, and are registered as an Australian Cyber Security Centre Network Partner and an Approved Supplier on the Department of Premier and Cabinet’s Vendor Panel.
